There is only one campus of Namal College, which is located in Mianwali District, 30 KM from Mianwali city on Talagang Road. It is 90 minute drive from motorway through Balkasar Interchange near Chakwal city.
There are three 4-year undergraduate degree programs being offered at Namal College, i.e. BSc. Electrical Engineering, BSc. Computer Science and BBA.
Namal College is now affiliated with the university of engineering & technology, Lahore and thereby the degree will also be awarded by the UET, Lahore.
The admissions will be purely on merit, to be determined by aggregate marks.
For B.Sc. Electrical engineering and B.Sc. Computer science:
- F.Sc. with Mathematics & Physics or equivalent with at least 60% marks for B.Sc. Computer Science.
- F.Sc. pre-engineering or equivalent with at least 60% marks for B.Sc. Electrical Engineering.
- Entry Test of any Public Sector Engineering University for non-Punjab Domiciled applicants OR Combined Entry Test 2017 conducted by UET, Lahore for Punjab domiciled applicants.
- FA / F.Sc. or equivalent with at least 60% marks for BBA.
- Combined Entry Test 2017 conducted by UET, Lahore or BBA Test-2017 of UET, Lahore or NAT-I 2017.
The candidate must have studied Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry in F.Sc.
The candidate must have studied Physics and mathematics in F.Sc or equivalent.
The candidate must have an F. A/ F.Sc / DAE or equivalent with any combination of subjects.

Yes there is admission application fee. You have to pay a non-refundable admission application fee to be deposited at any branch of Habib Bank Limited in Pakistan. Please deposit PKR: 2000 for applying into all the three programs, 1500 for two programs and 1000 for applying into any one of the programs.
Once you have filled and submitted the online application, you will get TWO notifications via email on your given e-mail address:
- Application Acceptance
- Link for attachment of scanned copy of the fee submitted bank challan form
once you have submitted the application form, just download the challan form from the website, get a print and deposit the fee at any Branch of HBL. Afterwards, attach & send a scanned soft copy of this bank challan through the link mentioned in point 2 above.
Without attaching scanned copy of the challan form, your application will not be considered for admission.
The admission time-line for 2017 is as under:
- 16th September [Admissions Open]
- 5th October [Applications Deadline]
- The semester will start on 7th November 2017.
The detail of the fee is available on the College website. The College reserves the right to amend fee structure with prior notification to the successful candidates. Also, tuition fee is subject to revision every academic year.
Yes, Namal provides merit & need-based financial support & scholarships. However, applications will be solicited after admission process.
There will be no entry test exclusively conducted by Namal College this year. For details, please see the eligibility criteria given above.
There are at least 40 seats allocated for each program of BSc. Electrical Engineering, BSc. Computer Science and BBA.
No. Admission is strictly on merit basis, without any bias of gender, race, religion, or ethnicity.
There is no age limit. All applicants who qualify on merit will be considered.
No. There is no transfer option at the moment.
Interviews might follow after scrutiny of the requisite paperwork, which are to be submitted after admission offer is accepted by the candidate.
Yes. Namal College has the distinction of being the first professional institution in the district that accords equal learning opportunities to both males and females.
Yes. There are separate hostels for males and females. They are situated a short drive away from the College, and students commute on College buses.
Namal College has no political affiliations; no political parties are allowed representation on campus.
Yes. Namal College is a recognized institute by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and Pakistan Engineering Council. All the formal controls, policies & standards of our academic programs, including admissions, as enshrined in the constitution of UET, Lahore will be applicable to new academic year of 2017 onwards.
